In Vorbereitung eigener Musikprojekte habe ich angefangen, mich mit einigen Musikern zu beschäftigen, die meinem derzeitigen Musikgeschmack nahe kamen oder kommen.
Neben den üblichen Techno-Menschen sind mir insbesondere die beiden oben genannten Chicane und BT ans Herz gewachsen.

Ich habe versucht, so viel wie möglich an CDs, Bänder und Schallplatten zu beschaffen. Wert dabei legte ich allerdings insbesondere auf Remixe - also nicht auf die üblichen Chart-Veröffentlichungen.

Die Arbeiten von BT haben mir so manches Highlight gebracht.

Real Name: Brian Wayne Transeau

Profile: An accomplished and prolific producer and studio wizard hailing from Maryland, USA, Brian Transeau began receiving attention for his solo work and his collaborations with US artists like Deep Dish in the early- to mid-1990's. His singles "Embracing The Sunshine" and "Loving You More" were firm favorites with progressive house DJ's, eventually getting released on Perfecto Records. He finally broke through to the British charts with his hit "Blue Skies" (with Tori Amos) in 1996. His debut album "Ima" followed the same year. The next year, the single "Remember" (with Jan Johnston) announced the arrival of his second album "ESCM" (Electric Sky-Church Music), which saw him taking in a more epic, symphonic sweep to his repetoire which already took in house, breakbeat, electro and epic vocal trance. More singles from BT in the late 1990's met with consistent success - "Mercury And Solace" and "Namistai" (with Paul Van Dyk) received worldwide play and he continued to build an impressive resume, scoring major motion pictures like Gone In 60 Seconds and working with pop bands like *N'Sync. His third and forth albums have seem him heading off into more radio-friendly music, featuring guest lyricists like J.C. Chasez and Guru and focusing on a more techno-pop-breakbeat flavor. His most recent album, "Emotional Technology" came out in Fall 2003, along with the hit single "Somnambulist".
